Solar energy, an option to consider!
The use of solar energy is the subject of recurring questioning, particularly from local and national authorities.
Solar-powered pumping is characterized by a variable flow rate throughout the day. From dawn, the photovoltaic field starts producing electricity and a low flow rate is produced by the pump. During the day, as solar exposure becomes greater on the field of solar panels, the pump’s flow rate increases. The maximum flow rate of the pump, expressed in m3/h, typically obtained at noon, is about one-sixth (1/6) of the daily flow rate.
Zergoun Green Energy has implemented, on one of its agricultural farms, the use of its own 160 solar panels (375Wp) to operate a 50cv pump.
